Not Going to a Four-Year College?

Here are some other options for you to get some skills:
  • Applied Technology Colleges: offers training in two years or less.  There are Associate Degrees available for some of the programs.(DATC, OATC, etc.)
  • Community Colleges: Technology programs and other training offered in two years or less.
  • Business School:  Stevens-Henager, LDS business college, Eagle Gate College and others can offer skills for careers.
  • Specialized Schools: Length of time varies depending on the program (Cosmotology, Massage Therapy, etc.)
  • Apprenticeships: Can be arranged through your highschool, DATC or Workforce Services.  On-the-job training.
  • Military: After joining the military, there are many options for training within the different branches of military.
  • Department of Workforce Services: Provides employment services to anyone in the community.
