- Applied Technology Colleges: offers training in two years or less. There are Associate Degrees available for some of the programs.(DATC, OATC, etc.)
- Community Colleges: Technology programs and other training offered in two years or less.
- Business School: Stevens-Henager, LDS business college, Eagle Gate College and others can offer skills for careers.
- Specialized Schools: Length of time varies depending on the program (Cosmotology, Massage Therapy, etc.)
- Apprenticeships: Can be arranged through your highschool, DATC or Workforce Services. On-the-job training.
- Military: After joining the military, there are many options for training within the different branches of military.
- Department of Workforce Services: Provides employment services to anyone in the community.
